How Orange County hires.

Orange County's courts are spread across the county by subject. Civil and criminal matters run through the Central Justice Center in Santa Ana, family and juvenile through the Lamoreaux Justice Center in Orange, probate through the Costa Mesa Justice Complex, and the north and west of the county through the justice centers in Fullerton and Westminster. Federal cases go to the Ronald Reagan courthouse in Santa Ana.

Firms follow the money and the freeways. Newport Center and MacArthur Boulevard in Newport Beach hold the high-end practices, South Coast Metro in Costa Mesa holds the mid-size firms, and the small and solo shops spread through Fullerton, Orange, Huntington Beach, Tustin, and Mission Viejo. A client in Garden Grove and a client in Newport Beach search for the same practice area and expect two very different sites.

Knowing Orange County

Orange County is thirty-four cities pretending to be one place, laced together by Beach Boulevard, Harbor Boulevard, and the 5 and 405 corridors. Each city keeps its own permit counter and its own rules, so a contractor working countywide juggles a different process in Fullerton than in Mission Viejo.

The county’s defining features for home services are the slab foundation, the HOA, and the water district rebate. Between them they shape what breaks, what needs approval, and what gets subsidized.

Franchises and private-equity-backed service brands blanket the county with ads, which raises what homeowners expect a legitimate company’s website to look like. Those brands cannot sound local, because they are not.

Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa, Fullerton, Orange, Mission Viejo, Newport Beach, Garden Grove, Tustin.

Most OC housing is slab-on-grade tract construction from the 1960s through 1990s, and HOAs have real authority over exterior work.

Nº02 / The briefFor law firms

What your site actually needs to do.

  • 01

A potential client with a real case searches at night, reads three or four firms, and calls the one that answered a question plainly. A site that only says "aggressive representation" loses that read.

  • 02

Intake is the leak. Calls that ring through to voicemail during a deposition, forms that ask for nothing useful, and a paralegal who returns messages in the order they came in, not by the value of the case.

  • 03

The State Bar of California regulates every word a firm publishes about results and testimonials. A page copied from an out-of-state template can put a solo practitioner on the wrong side of Rules 7.1 through 7.5.

What we build for law firms.

  • Practice-area pages. One page per practice, personal injury, immigration, family, estate planning, criminal defense, or business, each written to answer what a client in that situation types into Google.
  • Intake and consultation booking. A short form that asks for the facts a paralegal needs to screen, and a scheduler for consultations, with paid or free consultations set up the way the firm runs them.
  • AI receptionist for screening. Answers every call at any hour, asks the intake questions the firm writes, books the consultation into the calendar, and texts the attorney a summary before the caller hangs up.
  • Case results and testimonials within the rules. A results page and a reviews section written to State Bar advertising standards, with the disclaimers the rules require and nothing that reads as a guarantee.
  • Bilingual intake. Spanish, Korean, Armenian, Vietnamese, or whichever language the firm actually serves, on the pages and in the form, so the first contact happens in the client's language.
  • Search and ads for high-intent phrases. Pages and campaigns built around the searches that mean a person needs a lawyer this week, and the firm's name and address on every ad the way Rule 7.2 requires.

What that looks like in Orange County.

A countywide firm needs a page per courthouse as much as a page per practice. Explaining that a divorce is filed at Lamoreaux in Orange, a probate at Costa Mesa, and a DUI in Fullerton at the North Justice Center tells a reader you practice here. Each of those pages ranks for the city it names, and together they cover the county without claiming to be everywhere.

The county's injury market is dominated by firms that advertise on every freeway and answer through call centers. A small firm competes by being reachable and specific: a landing page per injury type, a form that asks about the crash and the insurer, and an AI receptionist that screens at midnight. Results appear with the State Bar disclaimer, not as a slogan.

Estate planning and business law are the quiet volume in Orange County. Homeowners in Huntington Beach and Mission Viejo with paid-off houses need trusts. Contractors, restaurants, and medical practices across the county need entity formation and employment advice. Vietnamese-speaking clients in Garden Grove and Westminster, and Korean-speaking clients in Fullerton and Buena Park, need intake in their language. Each of those gets its own page and form.

A broadsheet, not a brochure. Rule-bordered masthead, no photograph above the fold, zero rounded corners and zero animation. The verdict table sets recoveries as a real typeset column, and the locator is drawn rather than embedded.

Asked by law firms in Orange County.

The main site carries the countywide brand, and city pages underneath it cover your core towns, each with its own copy about the local courthouse and client base. A Fullerton search lands on a Fullerton page, not on a homepage that lists thirty cities.
