Nº01 / LocalSalons and Barbers in Anaheim

How Anaheim hires.

Anaheim’s salons sit in three worlds. The Colony and the Packing District around Center Street have the barbershops and the salons that came with the restored bungalows. West Anaheim along Beach Boulevard, Brookhurst, and Lincoln carries the neighborhood shops, including the salons of Little Arabia along Brookhurst. Anaheim Hills has its centers along Santa Ana Canyon Road and Weir Canyon.

Then there is the resort. Hotel guests, convention attendees, and the cast members and hotel staff who work the corridor along Harbor and Katella need cuts, color, and blowouts at hours a neighborhood salon does not always keep. The site sorts those customers: the local who books every five weeks and the visitor who needs a blowout tomorrow.

Knowing Anaheim

Anaheim’s working map runs along Harbor Boulevard and Katella Avenue through the resort district, Lincoln Avenue across the older heart of town, and Santa Ana Canyon Road out to the Hills. Center Street’s Packing District is the Colony’s front porch, and the neighborhoods around it are reinvesting in hundred-year-old homes block by block.

Anaheim Public Utilities keeps electric rates below the surrounding Edison territory, and permits run through the city’s own building division. The resort economy adds a commercial customer base of hotels, restaurants, and rentals that most Orange County cities do not have.

Convention weeks fill the corridor and Angels and Ducks games swell the Platinum Triangle while the neighborhoods live their own lives a mile from the fireworks. Residents can tell tourist-facing businesses from ones that serve locals.

Areas we cover

Anaheim Hills, the Anaheim Colony, Platinum Triangle, West Anaheim, the Packing District area, East Anaheim.

Anaheim runs its own electric utility (Anaheim Public Utilities), and the city splits sharply between the historic Colony flatlands and hillside tracts.

Nº02 / The briefFor salons and barbers

What your site actually needs to do.

  • 01

Booking runs through a link in an Instagram bio to a platform page that looks like every other salon. The client books the stylist, and the salon gets no site, no search presence, and no way to reach them again.

  • 02

No-shows on a Saturday cost a chair its best hours, and asking for a deposit over DM feels awkward. So nobody asks.

  • 03

Booth renters each have their own book, their own prices, and their own Instagram. The salon’s site either ignores them or lists them wrong.

What we build for salons and barbers.

  • Booking by stylist. Every stylist has a page with their services, prices, hours, license, and a book button that lands in their calendar in Vagaro, Booksy, Square, GlossGenius, or Fresha, on your domain.
  • Service menu with prices. Cuts, color, extensions, nails, lashes, and brows, priced and grouped so a first-time client knows what to book and what it costs.
  • Deposits and no-show policy. A card on file at booking, a deposit for color and lash sets, and a cancellation window stated where the client books.
  • Gallery from your Instagram. Your feed pulled onto the site by stylist, so the work that gets followed is the work that gets booked.
  • Gift cards and review requests. Gift cards sold on the site for the holidays, and a review request text after every visit.
  • Search pages by service. A page for balayage, a page for fades, a page for lash extensions, each written to rank in your city.

What that looks like in Anaheim.

A convention week fills Harbor Boulevard with people who need a haircut before a keynote. A page that says "near the Convention Center," with drive time, a same-day book button, and the hotel shuttle stops nearby, catches a search a chain’s template never targets.

Quinceañeras, weddings, and proms drive the event book across Anaheim, and families book hair and makeup for the whole party. A group booking page with a per-person price, a deposit, and a Spanish version keeps the family on your book instead of on a WhatsApp thread.

Anaheim Hills clients search Yorba Linda and Orange as easily as Anaheim, and the centers along Santa Ana Canyon Road serve all three. The site names the center and the neighborhoods. The city business license from Anaheim’s business license division and the Board of Barbering and Cosmetology establishment license go in the footer.

Asked by salons and barbers in Anaheim.

Yes. Spanish sections for the menu and booking are part of the Standard build, and the reminder and review texts go out in Spanish for clients who chose it. A full two-language site is a scoped add-on.
